dc.description.abstractThis paper covers the impacts of industrial emissions by the manufacturing sector to be specific in Namanve industrial area on climate change. Climate change has emerged as a pressing global challenge with adverse effects on the environment and climate in general characterized by raising global temperatures, extreme weather patterns, and environmental degradation. It is an increase in the global temperatures attributed by natural occurrences and human activities. This study examines how industrial emissions specifically among other human activities contribute to climate change. It investigates how emissions from manufacturing sector in Namanve industrial park contributes to the accumulation of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere. It further examines the legislative and regulatory frameworks that have been enacted to combat climate change. The study also evaluates the awareness levels of manufactures as well as the employees regarding climate change, its causes and impacts. The study also reviews the policies and strategies in place to help combat climate change hence promoting sustainable development.
