The Role Of E-Procurement on Supply Chain Management Performance

Abstract

The purpose of the study was to examine the role of E-procurement on supply chain management. It was guided by three main objectives namely; to examine the role of e- requisitioning on supply chain management performance, to determine the role of e-ordering on supply chain management performance and to find out the role of e-purchasing on supply chain management performance. The research was based on the formatted research design which showed study population, sample techniques and sample size, data sources, data collection methods and instruments, data analysis and presentation that was going to be used during data collection and concluded with the challenges that were faced during the research period. The data was later presented, analysed and interpreted based on the research objectives. It concluded that e-procurement played a significant role on supply chain management performance which was proved by the co-operating respondents who gave in time to answer the questionaires.
