| dc.description.abstract | The purpose of the study aimed at assessing the effect of supplier of supplier selection on service delivery on the following objectives; to establish the influence of solicitation on service delivery at Trade corps Freight Forwarders, to examine buyer-supplier relationship on service delivery at Trade corps Freight Forwarders, to examine the impact of relevant experience on service delivery at Trade corps Freight Forwarders. Qualitative research design was used. Secondary sources of information included text books, pamphlets, research reports, journals, internet were used in addition to various company reports, some data was also collected by the use of interviews. Besides that offer collecting the data, it was analyzed in line with the problem, objectives of the research, research questions and other information especially from the literature review. Findings revealed that there are existing supplier selection practice at Tradecorp Freight Forwarders The type of practices embraced by Tradecorp Freight Forwarders while dealing with its suppliers is collaborative relationship. An important observation is that supplier selection have improved the processes of transactions across the various functions and also it is integrated in such a way that information flows along the various departments. | |
