This study investigated the influence of sustainable logistics practices on environmental footprint in Uganda. A mixed-methods approach was employed, combining survey data from DHL Uganda with in-depth interviews from industry experts. The results showed that the adoption of sustainable logistics practices, such as eco -friendly packaging, route optimization and the use of non- motorized vehicles significantly reduce greenhouse gas emissions and waste generation. The study also identified key drivers and barriers to adopting sustainable logistics practices in Uganda. The findings contribute to the understanding of sustainable logistics practices in developing countries and provide insights for policymakers, logistics firms, and stakeholders to mitigate environmental degradation. The study’s recommendations aim to promote sustainable logistics practices in Uganda, aligning with global sustainability goals.
