| dc.description.abstract | This paper set out to identify the top 5 high profile homicides cases in Uganda and the factors influencing their progress and outcomes. This study was restricted to Kampala and its suburb regions. The study employed methods like documentary analysis, sampling and surveys to realize the research objectives and to answer the research questions. The study discovered that the killings of Andrew Felix Kaweesi, Joan Namazzi Kagezi, Henry Katanga, Desire Mirembe and Enid Twijuke where the highest profile homicides in Kampala over the period 2014-2024 The study recommended that the government should strengthen forensic capabilities and carry out further training workshops for the prosecution among other things. | |
