dc.description.abstractMicrofinance credits are crucial prerequisite in the initiation and progress of the impact of microfinance credit on performance of women owned enterprises in Uganda- Kiruhura District the main objective. To address, the study purpose, the study specifically addresses the following study objectives that are; the microfinance credit contribution to financial inclusion for women-owned enterprises in Uganda, to assess of microfinance credit on the growth and sustainability of women-owned enterprises, to assess the challenges faced by women-owned enterprises in accessing microfinance credit in Uganda. The study used only cross-sectional research design supported by quantitative approaches. used ‘Likert Scale’ (considered on 1-5 points scale) to measure the respondents’ perceptions based on few statements to perceive the impact of microfinance credit on the enterprises.in Uganda. According to the uncovering, the study concluded that loans terms, savings, financial education, and the different policies on credit play a fulcrum role on growth and development of microfinance credit in Kiruhura District.
